Yu Wang, DMD DDS
Dr. Yu Wang is a proficient dentist with extended experience. She started her dental training in 2001 at Peking University School of Stomatology (PKUSS), which is the best dental school in China, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a doctoral degree in 2009. She also completed Orthodontics and Pediatric residency training at her alma malter. After graduation, she practiced and taught at the Pediatric Department of PKUSS, and became the Clinical Assistant Professor in 2014. She was a member of the Chinese Board of Pediatric Dentistry since 2012.
From 2015 to 2016, she further studied Preventive Dentistry at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. Her research interests mainly focus on early interruption of malocclusion and pulp revascularization treatment. Her commitment towards research led to 9 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals. She also delivered many lectures, posters and oral presentations in domestic and international scientific meetings, such as IADR (International Association for Dental Research) annual session, and FDI World Dental Federation annual congress.
To refine her expertise, Dr. Wang enrolled in the University of Michigan School of Dentistry (UMSOD) in January 2017, and received a DDS degree in April 2019. She graduated at the top of her class, and received many awards, such as Comprehensive Care Award, Academy of Osseointegration Award, and Russell W. Bunting Award in Periodontics.
Dr. Wang has been practicing in Boston since 2019. The extended study and work experience at PKUSS and UMSOD provided her with considerable clinical knowledge and skills. She strives to put each patient at ease with her honest, friendly chair-side manner and meticulous individualized treatment approach. She dedicates to providing quality comprehensive dental care for both adults and children.
In her spare time, Dr. Wang enjoys cooking and hiking, and spending time with her husband and children.
